·  Student Organizations – Connect with peers who share your interests and career goals through CEC’s student organizations. Many CYSE students are active members of Mason’s Competitive Cyber Club, gaining hands-on experience and networking opportunities.

·  Internships – Gain real-world experience through paid internships with leading companies and government agencies in the region, available year-round for undergraduates.

·  Study Abroad – Expand your horizons by participating in one of the many study abroad programs offered through the Global Education Office.

·  Travel Funding – Mason’s Undergraduate Student Travel Fund (USTF) provides financial support for undergraduates presenting research or attending academic conferences.

·  ADVANCE Program – Start your journey at Northern Virginia Community College and seamlessly transfer to Mason through the Mason-NOVA ADVANCE program. Earn an Associate of Science degree and complete your BS in Cyber Security Engineering within four years.

·  Sponsored Research – Through the Office of Student Scholarship, Creative Activities, and Research (OSCAR), undergraduates can collaborate with faculty on research projects. OSCAR provides funding, mentorship, travel grants, interdisciplinary learning opportunities, and hosts the annual Celebration of Scholarship.
